THE COACHING PROGRAMME
Counselling sits with what happened. Coaching walks with what happens next.
Our twelve month structured programme is built for bereaved Black, Asian and minoritised families. It is led by lived experience coaches: paid leads working alongside supervised volunteer peer supporters. This is a journey of walking forward, coordinated across four distinct phases.
01
Stabilise
MONTHS 1 TO 3
The initial phase focuses on grief integration. We provide the structural support needed to navigate the immediate aftermath of loss, finding a language for what has occurred within a culturally safe environment.
02
Reconnect
MONTHS 4 TO 6
A phase dedicated to identity and relationships. This includes a dedicated stream for fathers and partners, acknowledging the distinct ways loss impacts the family unit and finding paths back to one another.
03
Rebuild
MONTHS 7 TO 9
Focusing on the practicalities of moving forward. We support families as they navigate return to work, financial stability, and the reconstruction of a daily life that honours their loss while allowing for growth.
04
Look Forward
MONTHS 10 TO 12
The final phase walks with you through the timing of your own family. This includes rainbow baby readiness and long-term legacy work. We move at your pace: we do not decide when you are ready.
The coaching programme is free at the point of need. It is not a substitute for clinical care.
