Culturally Competent Awareness Across Oxfordshire, Leicester & Derbyshire
Our mission focuses on delivering life-saving knowledge to those often overlooked by general healthcare systems. Through the distribution of culturally appropriate materials to GP surgeries and community venues, we aim to eliminate preventable losses associated with LLETZ procedures.
We are making tangible progress, specifically addressing the maternal health disparities faced by Black and South Asian communities in Oxfordshire, Leicester and Derbyshire. To date, we have reached over 200 women and partnered with 40+ GP surgeries to ensure clinical decision protocols are strictly followed. Registered Charity No. 1217011.

Technology for Change
Pregnancy Companion App
We are developing a specialized digital companion that allows mothers to record and track clinical history such as LLETZ procedures. The app provides a transparent layer of communication between patients and clinical teams, ensuring that no risk factor is overlooked at any stage of the journey.
The Elkan Protocol
Our Clinical Decision Support software is designed to integrate directly into NHS systems. By automating risk flagging based on maternal history, the Elkan Protocol ensures that the NHS Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle is executed reliably for every woman, preventing the loss of babies like Elkan through algorithmic oversight.
Impact Targets for Reach & Engagement
We have set ambitious goals to measure our progress and ensure that no family is left to face preventable loss without advocacy and support.
